Re: Downloads Pause at 100%

Same for me. Using Debian 11.3 and still rocking NZBGet 21.1. B een noticing this problem for a few months (maybe longer?) but was just too lazy to come here and complain. :) I might try switching to 21.2 Testing. Same. Though the forum is difficult to find kinda. I can only find it by searching on...

Re: Downloads Pause at 100%

Any updates on this? A few minutes ago, I was grabbing an episode of House Hunters International. The download was pretty much done then switched itself to 'paused'. I selected the episode and clicked on the 'resume' button and it downloaded another, small fragment then paused itself again. I clicke...

Do NZBGet updates revert user and group in systemd?

Ran into a recent problem with Sonarr in Arch and wanted to see if NZBGet will do the same. In Sonarr, I edited the systemd .service file to run under a specific user and group. I recently applied a newer version and the installer reverted the user and group back to 'sonarr', this, breaking things. ...

Re: Arch, Sonarr, NZBGet and file permissions. Want to punch the wall!

Solved my problems. I think everything centered around NZBGet being the main problem!? Just in case somebody else (far into the future) has the same issue, what I did to fix things was: Don't mess with any Sonarr settings. Leave it running under the 'sonarr' user account. Make sure to add sonarr to ...

Re: Arch, Sonarr, NZBGet and file permissions. Want to punch the wall!

Yeah, as hugbug already wrote, umask is the way to go here. You could set the umask in nzbget to "002", which means newly created files/folders will get permission rw-rw-r or rwxrwxr-x, resp. Sonarr has a similar option hidden in settings (turn on advanced settings): Permissions - File chmod mask /...

Re: Arch, Sonarr, NZBGet and file permissions. Want to punch the wall!

Permissions in linux work like that: You have an owner, a group and then there's "others". A folder might have these permissions: drwxrwxrwx That means: d = directory, r = read, w = write, x = execute file or access directory The first 3 rwx mean: Owner can read, write, execute/access Next 3 mean: ...

Re: Fresh Linux install, getting error when checking for updates

Delete your current config file, then install again over; a new config file will be created by installer. Also see https://nzbget.net/backup-and-restore-settings. Did as you suggested and everything is working normally. I won't tempt fate by trying to restore my configuration file again, I'll just ...

Re: Fresh Linux install, getting error when checking for updates

There should be an error message on message-tab. Anything there? Well things have gone from bad to worse. Slight update (bigger fish to fry now) I restored my Windows configuration into my Linux setup and this is where things went south. The Windows settings restored fine. My news server was in the...
