Re: Post Processing creating null files?

Interesting. I wonder why when I look at the NZB's "file contents" on the website I got it from, it shows the files and names properly.

At least that answer the issue though, so thank you.

Re: Post Processing creating null files?

Not sure how to verify the NZB files. I just know that renaming the final files works, so they aren't corrupt in that manner. I can send them to you, yeah. The location is a network share. To be clear, 99% of the time things work fine and have for years. It was just recently that I started noticing ...

Post Processing creating null files?

I am having a weird issue with a few files I have downloaded. They download fine but when NZBGet does the post processing step, it seems to just make a file called "null" and that's it. At first I thought maybe there was something wrong with the download so I re-downloaded it and got the same result...

Re: Nzbget hanging at the end of a new download

Can I ask what causes a connection to get into this "hanging" state to begin with? EDIT: So on a whim I reduced the size of my Article Cache and Disk Buffer to about half their previous values and -- knock on wood -- so far it seems a lot more stable. About to go to bed so letting it run over night ...

Re: Nzbget hanging at the end of a new download

Ok makes sense. I did that and it took most of the day to work through the PP queue (darned slow processor on the NAS), but once it finally got through them and started on downloads, it got through one ok and processed it ok, then the next one got hung up again in the same state. DL speed drops to n...

Re: Nzbget hanging at the end of a new download

So it hung up again. I got some screenshots for you. I also tailed the log for a bit and it looks like this time there is still activity in the log. In fact the log is being spammed to crap by the "Cancelling hanging download" entries, which I think it causing the whole application to get slower and...

The web interface does typically respond with a few exceptions. Trying to pause globally or individually won't work.

Any particular part of the interface you want a screenshot of?

Re: Nzbget hanging at the end of a new download

And again :( Out of 4 downloads this morning it has managed to get hung up on 3 of the necessitating a restart. In each case there has been a PP task running which doesn't like the restart and has to start the check/verify/repair all over again so that extra sucks.

Re: Nzbget hanging at the end of a new download

On closer inspection I seem to be getting lots of these "hanging" downloads, on all three of my servers. Could this have something to do with it downloading to a RAID disk? It seems to start with just one or two connections hanging, then it builds until more and more are in that "cancelling hanging ...
