Re: 21.0 release update fails, authenticity error

That must have been the problem, the file pubkey.pem was not present in the nzbget folder. I recreated it from the github repo and now the installer works. :)

Thanks!

Re: 21.0 release update fails, authenticity error

Both files turn out to be identical so I guess that it's not a corrupted download.

EDIT: and the checksum listed in the signature file is identical to what I calculated and posted earlier.

Re: 21.0 release update fails, authenticity error

There's no https inspection going on so it's not clear what's going on. I just downloaded the file on my Windows PC and calculated the checksum with total commander and it's different from what's listed the installer: 697b40778dcdc537b981afd23c6b634b *nzbget-21.0-bin-linux.run but I guess that's to ...

21.0 release update fails, authenticity error

As the subject says, when I run the updater (20->21) I get this error:

Running on a Synology DS918+ NAS (Intel).

I tried the update two times. So is the signature incorrect or the package...?

Re: NZBget for Synology

I also had some errors with Sonarr connecting to nzbget (probably caused by a bug in the mono runtime of Sonarr). As a workaround I installed a let's encrypt certificate on my NAS and used it with nzbget.

Maybe this also helps with Sickrage and couchpotato (although they both don't use mono)?

Re: Resource Hog ?

Thanks for the reply. I use a 1Tb 7200 RPM Mechanical HD for my OS (& to run NZBGet) and a 4Tb Mechanical HD for storage. Would upgrading to an SSD primary drive stop the HD bottleneck ? Of course upgrading to a SSD will make your OS a lot faster. However, if you can just move the NZBGET related IO...

Re: Resource Hog ?

I guess that the 99% is the PAR process at work (repairing the downloads). I think it's quite easy to create a full load to the harddisk as they're relatively slow (and nzbget is very fast!). This can be a problem in your case because you're using a desktop and want to do some other things as well a...

Re: NZBget for Synology

Finally the packages supporting Apollolake are showing up. :D For people who want to test, the spk's can be downloaded from this page: https://github.com/Safihre/spksrc/releases/tag/nzbget-dsm61-new-all If you don't know which package to get, you can look up your architecture here https://github.com...

Re: NZBget for Synology

That's good to know, however, if the update function works that shouldn't be a problem I guess?

Re: NZBget for Synology

@useless: maybe the package provided by synocommunity is easier for you. Have you tried to install it? It probably takes care of the restart automatically.

See www.synocommunity.com how to configure your NAS so that their packages become available in your package center.
