Re: Speed up failed articles

hadnt made benchmark between the 2 before the first post, but just did a little test. Both are about the same speed, for a typical nzb with 100% failure, it took 1.5 sec for both STAT or BODY to complete, about 2000 articles. About same time in NZBget, only main provider enabled. So NZBGet just does...

Speed up failed articles

What about let NZBGet ask for a STAT msg just before asking for ARTICLE / BODY (dont know what NZBget uses to get the actual article)? If the STAT responds as a failure, skip the ARTICLE / BODY request. the STAT request is very very fast, and if that one returns a 430 instead of the 223, the article...

Re: Lots of download that can't be repaired

might had something similar lately. During download I turned of the main provider (backups work properly), download didnt continue, restarted, download continued ok, ~99% available, repair fails. Redownloading same nzb again, without interference, worked ok. Have seen this 3 times in the last month ...

Re: Purposefully fail download if specific filetype is detected?

Pp-scripts can mark downloads as bad by printing special command (example in bash): echo "[NZB] MARK=BAD"; Hopefully Radarr understands history status "FAILURE/BAD" correctly. Sonarr does not suport the marked BAD items. Thats why I made a force failure option in the Completion script for NZBGet, s...

Re: "Unknown Error" when testing connection to usenet.farm?

Connection test is tricky. Save server and try downloading. Does it work? Any errors in the log? Might it be better to test a connection requesting CAPABILITIES if the other option you use fails, that would mean atleast you can approach the server on the specified host and port. If the credentials ...

Re: How to increase download speed?

May try to grab some not to old stuff in general groups in the low usage times. For the US that would generally be somewhere ~0100 - 0800

Re: [SQS-Script] Completion-Propagation/DMCA/Retention check

I have done some testing on the above suggestion, it is not possible. Changing the check times within the script while it is running in NZBGet does not have an effect on the check times. NZBGet reads in the script (the changes) on a reload or on when someone clicks on the script page in settings, an...

Re: [SQS-Script] Completion-Propagation/DMCA/Retention check

thanks for looking into it, I guess a fix might be a long way off if you have to rewrite the entire script. If it happens again it shouldn't be too much of a problem, I fixed it the first time by disabling the script for that download. Its most likely only a message printing issue, so the articles ...
