Join Downloads and History tabs

It seems like a nice design to make Downloads and History visible from the same page.

You could have Downloads at the top half, and a separated list below that for history. I swap between these two a lot so this would make the user experience more seamless.

Thoughts?

Re: Plans for moving away from SourceForge

Just want to add a note. If you plan on moving to Git, I recommend converting from SVN to Git repo using subgit. It has special handling of line endings as well: http://blog.subgit.com/line-endings-handling-in-svn-git-and-subgit/ I can help if needed. If you do not end up using Git, then never mind :)

Re: Plans for moving away from SourceForge

That's what I mean, I don't see another service offering the same. Of course, if SourceForge wouldn't exist anymore, I would need to choose a less rich service but currently SourceForge provides best service for NZBGet. An NZBGet user rarely see SourceForge frontend: custom home page, custom downlo...

Re: Plans for moving away from SourceForge

Github has wiki built in. For hosting the forum, I'd recommend a VPS for that *or* a mailing list.

nzbget history tab getting wiped

Using latest trunk build of nzbget on linux, my download history tab is not showing anything. I think after each restart or something the list is getting cleared. This never used to happen before. I checked my nzbget `queue` directory and it's full of files named after numbers like "19225". Any tips...

Re: Plans for moving away from SourceForge

I don't know free alternatives who provide: hosting for binary downloads; web hosting for static pages and dynamic pages (php); domain name integration for web-hosting. As long as you go to nzbget.net (instead of sf.net/projects/nzbget) you are safe. Both github and bitbucket are decent choices. Gi...

Compilation fails on Linux

Running latest in trunk, I get the following error after invoking `make`: make[1]: *** No rule to make target 'daemon/postprocess/PostScript.cpp', needed by 'PostScript.o'. Stop. make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/robert/nzbget-code' Makefile:641: recipe for target 'all' failed make: *** [all] Error ...

Re: nzbget asks for username/password when run from upstart

Thanks, running "nzbget -p" shows it is using the .nzbget file from my profile (expected). I have these other conf files. Can I delete all of these?

Code: Select all

/etc/init/nzbget.conf
/usr/local/share/nzbget/nzbget.conf
/usr/local/etc/nzbget.conf
