Re: [Feature Request] auto searh for nzbget.conf at startup

That makes searching the home location impossible, as it will always find the installdir location, unless one deletes the installdir copy and that will only last until the next install.

So, how can it search various locations if it never gets past the installdir location?

[Feature Request] auto searh for nzbget.conf at startup

Various files mention ~/nzbget.conf, /etc/nzbget.conf and the default one in the installdir. But, I discovered that when I copied the file from the installdir to my home and modified it, it was not opened when I started nzbget, it opened the installdir file. It would be nice if nzbget searched for t...

Re: [Scan-Script] Add packed nzb-files to queue

The zip contains a directory called "nzbgetpp-master," which I've copied to the installdir scripts location.

How does one now activate that script?

Re: [Scan-Script] Add packed nzb-files to queue

OK, I've downloaded the script file. Now what do I do with it, i.e., how do I install it? There are no installation instructions in the readme file.

I ask because the scripts directory (Linux) only contains two python files. The zip file contains a directory with more than just the unzip.py file.

Re: [Feature Request] Unpack ZIP files

Thanks, now I just need to figure out how to apply it, :?: I have no clue how to install the above script as well. The scripts directory, as shipped, has two python files there. The zip file has a directory (I run under Linux) with files, other than the expected python file. The README doesn't cont...

Re: [SOLVED] How to supply the unrar password

Make sure QueueDir is on a local drive (not on NAS). Otherwise the queue may be easily corrupted if NAS becomes unavialbale for a moment. TempDir is also better to have local. And for best performance InterDir should be local too. In other words: only DestDir belongs to NAS. I just ran into the sit...

Re: How to supply the unrar password

If direct unpack is disabled then unpacking is performed during post-processing stage; that's when the password is needed. If direct unpack is active the unpack attempt will be made after the first rar-file is downloaded. If the unpack fails due to wrong password the next unpack attempt will be mad...

Re: How to supply the unrar password

Found it. The instructions regarding using the webui and the setting of WebDir is a little vague. I changed all of the ${AppDir} settings to ${MainDir}, as it points to my NAS server, where I place downloads. It doesn't say, even in the config file, that WebDir should point to the installation locat...

Re: How to supply the unrar password

What are the reasons to avoid web-interface? The web-server is running anyway. You know, no real reason. More in a moment. If you still want to do that the hard way the password can be set after adding to queue with: nzbget -E G O "*unpack:password=mypassword" 123 Were "123" is the ID of nzb-file w...

Re: How to supply the unrar password

I've been doing a little more digging regarding commandline options. I have no idea if this will work: nzbget -c ~/nzbget,conf -E O "password=rar_password" nzb_filename The online manual has no "O" listed for individual file editing, only in the "G"roup editing. The manual does not list any of the a...
