Re: How does nzbget handle expired/untrusted SSL certs?

I guess I find it. You use the program in standalone mode (nzbget file.nzb). In this mode TLS-library is not initialized properly (a bug). Please test if it works in server or daemon mode: nzbget -s Then put nzb-file into monitoring directory (option "nzbdir") or pass the file from another terminal:...

Re: [BUG?] Hanging downloads

Thanks for testing.
Sorry that the fix doesn't help.
Will see if it works better for licolan.

Re: How does nzbget handle expired/untrusted SSL certs?

I'm starting to think, that the error has nothing to do with certificate. May be it's because of 64-bit system. I didn't make testing on 64-bit. Please do the following: reconfigure with debug info and with OpenSSL: "./configure --enable-debug --with-tlslib=OpenSSL" set only one connection in config...

Re: How does nzbget handle expired/untrusted SSL certs?

If I new what it means :)
May be the certificate is corrupted (not outdated, but really corrupted)? Can you download it somehow and test with some program? I'm not an expert in SSL to give better advices :(

Can you test one more time with OpenSSL and one connection to see if it makes any difference?

Re: How does nzbget handle expired/untrusted SSL certs?

Please limit connections to one (Server1.connections=1 in nzbget.conf) and try again with GnuTLS.

Re: How does nzbget handle expired/untrusted SSL certs?

What hardware and OS you use?
Rebuild with a different TLS-library ("./configure --with-tlslib=GnuTLS" or "./configure --with-tlslib=OpenSSL") and see what happens :)

Explanation to workaround

It looks like network errors occur in one thread, but connections are working in other threads. I do not know what could cause this behaviour, but implemented a workaround. Nzbget counts connection errors. After at least 10 attempts (depends of option "retries", attempts = retries*2, but at least 10...

[HOW-TO] Build the latest development version from svn

Few hints to help with svn. Get the latest version from subversion repository to your computer: svn co https://nzbget.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/nzbget/trunk nzbget-svn This command creates directory "nzbget-svn" in current directory. You can use any other name instead of "nzbget-svn". Change to ne...
