Re: Problem with r283+ on (mipsel)linux

1. It works for me on Asus WL500gP. I attached my binary. Please try it.

2. Could you post the output of your configure and created "config.h".

3. What about console server mode (nzbget -s)?

Re: [HELP] Cross Compiling - Which Linux Distro?

I may knock a guide to cross compiling for beginners, as it was a bit of a head scratcher for me, but I have used GNU make on some of our embedded tool-chains, so could just about suss that bit out! If you decide to write the guide please post it in topic [HOW-TO] Build the latest development versi...

Re: Problem with r283+ on (mipsel)linux

When I tried to build them, they gave an error about the wrong version of automake (1.10 vs 1.10.1) I think it's the same problem I mentioned in [HOW-TO] Build the latest development version from svn . Try touch configure touch Makefile.in after "svn update" and before making. That should prevent a...

Re: [HELP] Cross Compiling - Which Linux Distro?

As long as you get default version built (0.5.1) it is easy to build the latest version. I use the following (possibly not optimal) way: In a working svn-directory of nzbget: ./configure make dist It creates a distribution archive, e.g. nzbget-0.6.0-testing.tar.gz. Then copy this archive into "optwa...

Update: incompatibility issues fixed in r283. Weston has tested it and at the first sight the program seems to work.

Re: [HELP] Cross Compiling - Which Linux Distro?

I use Debian 4 as VM-image from vmplanet.net. A disadvantage of this particular image is that it contains only a minimal install. You have to use package manager (console version) to install X and then all development packages.

Re: debug info requests

You could let ./configure look into .svn\entries for the svn-version. (line 4 seams to hold the version) Good idea. But line 4 doesn't work for me. After small investigation I've found that the line is updated on "svn update" but is keeped old on commits ("svn commit"). It's not a problem for other...

Re: debug info requests

1) can you echo the subversion when using the -v switch: Unfortunately I do not see any way how to do that :( 2) can you echo an INFO statement when downloading is finished: Sat Feb 7 10:14:56 2009 INFO Queue Downloaded - 20 paused files remaining I can do that. But can you explain what is the purp...

Re: Can't get find a Debian package and compile nzbget.

Better reinstall your system. It is not OK :)

Or you can compile libxml2 yourself and use additional parameters to configure to tell it where to find libxml2 libraries and includes. Please read README for mor info.
