Re: [QUESTION] Setting Category When Uploading ?

Please try this:

Code: Select all

GetRequest('scan', '');
The function is declared in "functions.php".

Note, that the scan-command is executed asynchronously. The server doesn't wait until all files are parsed and added to queue, but responses immediately.

Re: Connection Speed Query

Just commited r276 with three new suboptions for switch -L:

Code: Select all

nzbget -L F         - prints file list (default) as it was before;
nzbget -L G         - prints groups;
nzbget -L S         - prints only status.

Re: [QUESTION] Setting Category When Uploading ?

Your contribution is welcome. There are two ways to set category from web-app: 1. Create sub-dir and put the file there; 2. Use remote call "edit-queue" to change the category. In second case you need to wait until the file is picked up by nzbget and appears in queue before you can call "edit-queue"...

Re: nzbget kills itself after a while

Please use debug binary, enable all log-options (DebugTarget=both or DebugTarget=log, DetailTarget=both (or "log"), etc.). Enable option "DumpCore". Every time it crashes, please send me the log-file and the core-file. Then delete the log and restart nzbget. More logs and core-files increase the cha...

Re: HOW-TO: Installing NZBGet on QNAP

I see QNAP can run the packages compiled for cs05q3armel optware target.
In this case you can also use the latest testing packages from nzbget download secion.

Re: [FEATURE] In-built basic webserver

I was also hoping, that php-app will inspire users to write better web-interfaces based on nzbgetweb. But it seems nobody wants to do this :).

BTW, ydrol has written an alternative web-interface which does not require php - Zebedee.

Re: [FEATURE] In-built basic webserver

To be honest nzbget already has a basic built-in web-server, which is used to serve XML-RPC/JSON-RPC requests :).

NZBGet is targeted primary on devices with limited CPU and memory capabilities like NAS and routers. Installing nzbget on such devices is not harder than sabnzbd or hellanzb ;).
