Re: Problems to unrar files from UsenetRevolution

I read this thread carefully, but I am still a bit confused. We both had problems unraring when the path (+password) is very long, but hugbug, you're saying it's not path length that breaks the unraring, but use of wildcards (*.rar instead of filename.part01.rar)? If I change the NZB name to a short...

Re: run nzbget on busybox docker image?

A nzbget image of 228.1 MB ... That's exactly the reason I created my 15 MB image. Anyway: I would appreciate it you would test my image. And if you use it, I can introduce the auto-update feature. I just tried to update my install and it works -- I think the previous time there was a server down o...

Re: run nzbget on busybox docker image?

Can it update itself to new versions? Interesting question. I can make that happen. Did you run the image? No, I'm already running this one: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=33822.0 There's a fork that's supposed to update itself, but it doesn't work, and the author won't respond to...

Re: run nzbget on busybox docker image?

Anything you save within the container will get lost after stopping the container. So you pass parameters via the command line at startup. Then the config-file should be stored outside of container, I guess. And you shouldn't pass any config-options. Definitely. Mine is set up as: VOLUME MAPPINGS /...

Re: Unrar failures in docker container

Thanks, hugbug. Those are good suggestions. I have posted in the thread, but I don't know if Needo, the maintainer, has time to look at it yet.

Cheers,

Neil.

Re: Unrar failures in docker container

I tested unrar 5.11 in Docker/nzbget with another NZB (short filename, no password) and that worked. Then I tried one of the problem NZBs: Unrar: UNRAR 5.11 freeware Copyright (c) 1993-2014 Alexander Roshal . . . . Unpack for xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx...

Re: Unrar failures in docker container

If it's an x86 or x64 cpu, should not the normal unrar for linux from the official site work? binarys for linux x86 and x64: http://www.rarlab.com/rar/rarlinux-x64-5.1.1.tar.gz http://www.rarlab.com/rar/rarlinux-5.1.1.tar.gz Thanks! I will try that. I don't know how I didn't find that before. I fou...

Re: Unrar failures in docker container

I'd love to run unrar 5.11! I have no idea how to get "in the docker". I just run it! I doubt the docker image has any tools to compile stuff in it? Here's the docker: https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/needo/nzbget/ And here's what it installs ( https://registry.hub.docker.com/u/needo/nzbget/dockerf...
