It would be nice if nzbget would also check for items manually deleted as duplicates in addition to those with status success. This way we could stop nzbget from adding stuff (with the same or lower score) that we already downloaded somewhere else. Unless this would break anything else of course

"Delete and mark as duplicate" has a quite opposite purposes - the history items marked as duplicates are used as backups for other items (which are supposed to be in the queue).
To achieve what you ask you can mark history items as good.

Wouldn't that stop it from adding items with higher dupe scores as well? I'm looking for a way to only ignore the same or lower dupe score in the future.

So if I understand correctly you want a function to mark a history item (dupe) as success (not good) manually?
But that could be confusing, since it wasn't a success. So more like a new status: manual-success or something like it

yes, the idea was to have a way to let it treat deleted items the same way it does with the status success. While the purpose of dupe-delete might be different, it should still do the trick in my specific case, but I don't know enough about the inner workings of nzbget to tell if this would break anything else.

A new function "Mark as success" is needed for this. The item will have status "Success" in the list and status "Mark: Success" in the details.
The function can be also useful to mark items which were repaired outside of nzbget.

Yes, or any other way to let NZBGet ignore future NZBs with the same dupekey and the same (or lower) dupescore. "Mark as success" should work perfectly for this!
