I got it working with your Debugging code. That was my fault, I had it in the wrong place. Should have been at the very top, I had it after the first variable set.
With your debugging code, manually running the update.cmd as Administrator updates NZBGet like a champ.

However, I'm still getting the same errors on the webui, same as my last pastebin:

OK,

for one thing, the script is using the engine of IE - so make sure IE is working for the user running nzbget - hence it went through the initialization process of IE. If you run a server OS, it's easiest to remove the server limitations on IE:

This seems to be the predominant problem...

Can you try and fix this - hopefully it works after that...

I think I have that part fixed now.
I'm running Windows 8.1, x64 with NZBGet running as service under the SYSTEM account.

The problem was that Internet Explorer, when run as the SYSTEM account (account running NZBGet service) it was in the "First-run" configuration mode. So the solution was to run IE as user SYSTEM, which you can only do using psexec
https://marckean.wordpress.com/2010/12/ ... m-account/

After running IE as SYSTEM and doing the first setup, it fixed all those errors and I am now able to see updates available to my platform (it was blank before).
Checking for updates on Chrome now also works.
I haven't actually done an update yet though through the web interface, I'll check it next time the Testing branch is updated.

i appreciate the script to do this, it would be cool if the test builds can self install on windows like how plex does it, but is there something more official it can point to. Cuz although http://gralsburg.org/NZBGet-Builds/ might be good peeps I dunno who that is and if they keep things on the straight and narrow.

Well,

if you have a "better" source, I would love to use it - I also build NZBGet myself and just then use my own repository to install it on the server using the script, esp. when the other repository does not carry the latest version. But I do use it as well and never had problems with it...

I guess the only really trustworthy source would be hugbug - but I can see him why he does not want to release each test built on for each OS....

- Your NZBGET is installed in C:\NZBGET
If your nzbget isn't installed in C:\NZBGET where can you adjust the path?
