Adding new file - cannot establish connection to NZBGet

I'm having an issue where I can't add a file to NZBGet remotely using Chrome. I can login to NZBGet and perform all other actions it seems - just not add files. When I try to add a file it briefly shows the loading animation next to the filename then pops up a message saying: The file could not be added to the queue. Cannot establish connection to NZBGet. Also, quite often when selecting an NZB file to upload and add, nothing happens when I select the file - nothing appears in the 'Add NZB-files to Dowload Queue' box.

I've never had a problem in the past adding files remotely from this PC using the Chrome browser and I can add the files with no problems using Internet Explorer. I'm using a Windows 7 PC as the client with Chrome.

I've checked:
* Firewall (not on) on server PC.
* Rebooting server PC
* Rebooting client PC
* Rebooting router at both ends.
* Remove/Re-install Chrome on client PC.
* Updated NZBGet on the server to version 14.2

None of these has resolved the problem. Has anyone had this problem before?
