Have you tried just adding &airdate=7 to your RSS Feed link? At some sites you can easily filter this way...

Thanks for your suggestion, but that didn't work. It loads the RSS feed just fine with &airdate=7 but does not filter anything.

EDIT: It works if I use &aired=7 in the URL. Thanks for all your help.

Just to confirm: an extension of RSS filter isn't needed then, right?

I don't know if this is still an option for RSS Feeds, but I support it.

NZBHydra uses the extended attribute by default but does not seem to work with the aired option... I would like to filter out episodes from TV Shows aired X years, months, weeks ago.

Hi hugbug,

I think it actually is a useful filter because using the &airdate=3 parameter in the RSS URL excludes all items that lack an airdate and thus results in missing episodes in my feed.

As a workaround I used your suggestion to filter all my series, but it's quite time consuming and doesn't always prevent dupe downloads in the current season of a show.

Code: Select all

Accept: show name season:>=5 episode:>0
The ideal situation for me would be to use the tvairdate filter so I can:
  • proceed with all items that have an airdate and and that airdate is not longer than n days ago
  • pause all items that lack and airdate so I can manually check and resume if I want the episode

After playing around I came up with another workaround. It is not the most elegant solution but can be helpful for the time being.

Code: Select all

Reject: attr-tvairdate:$(19[0-9][0-9]|200[0-9]|201[0-8])
Reject: attr-tvairdate:$(Jan|Feb|Mar|Apr|May|Jun|Jul|Aug|Sep|Oct).2019
