Hi,
I am running NZBGet on a Raspberry Pi 2 model B so all the CPU tweaks I can get are welcome. So I followed the wiki
https://github.com/nzbget/nzbget/wiki/Performance-tips but it isnt clear if 'no SSL' is faster dan SSL with for example 'RC4-MD5' ? I searched the internet and this forum but I cannot find the answer.

SSL is always extra work. Whether it's slower or not depends on CPU usage: if the speed is limited by CPU then "no SSL" will be faster, otherwise it will be the same speed but less CPU load.
Since you have the device - do few tests and tell us the results. We are curious too.

Thank you for your reply, I figured as much but the wiki isn't very clear about this. I will test and report back.

I believe it is:
Activating the encrypted communication with news server (option ServerX.Encryption) makes a huge impact on performance.

English isn't my first language but imho you can interpret statment that as a positive (impact on performance). I see what you mean though.
edit:
I'm not trying to be negative. I figured SSL has a negative impact, I wanted to know for sure. I will test different settings and report back.
Props to you by the way for being such an active and involved dev!

I tried fiddling with different settings. Without SSL the RPI2 model B can download up to 5MB/s, with 'RC4-MD5' it maxes out on 3-3,5MB/s.

My Pi 2 achieves full line speed (5.5MB/sec) with RC4-MD5 enabled.
You should probably alter ArticleCache (mine is 300MB) and WriteBuffer (mine is 4096k) if you haven't already -these made a big difference for me

I'm on the same setup. Do you have the InterDIr set to the same drive as the DestDir?
