I think I may have found a solution.

Change the Movie directory under Categories to D:\NZBdownloads\tmpMovies <-- SSD drive
Movies get unpacked to this directory which is not monitored by 3rd party apps.

Use VideoSort to process the movie and move it to its final location on my NAS.
MoviesDir = Z:\Movies <-- NAS drive

Logically, this should eliminate the _pack issue.

Unpack and move are similar things. You may have the same issue during moving (which is "copy + delete" in this case).

Update:
I've had no more issues since I updated my settings as per above.

Unraring to a temp directory then moving it to the final destination directory has resolved all permission denied errors.

Hoping to revisit this topic. Using Radarr for movie downloads, with Plex, and running into the permission denied error. Can't use Videosort because it gets wonky when used with Radarr. Solution here requires Videosort. How do I resolve this if not using Videosort? Thanks
