Choose how a invalid character is replaced (possible?)

Post by TRaSH » 25 Feb 2017, 10:35

I wonder if it would be possible if there could be a option how to replace a invalid character in a nzb name.

Example for a movie i mostly use the imdb names:
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011)
i would like to have the option that the ":" would be replaced by " -" (space dash)
so it looks like:
Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides (2011)

You can set the name in a scan-script where you have access to nzb-file.

Scan scripts are executed when a new nzb-file is about to be added to queue. Scan script becomes as parameter the name of nzb-file and the script can tell nzbget how the download should be named.

You need to write a script which sets download names as you like.

See docs at https://github.com/nzbget/nzbget/wiki/Scan-scripts.
