Synology NZBGet: Cannot access webadmin over ipv6

Post by pOOB73 » 21 Apr 2017, 07:41

I've searched the forum, found a similar issue, but unfortunately that didn't help in my case.

Here's my constellation. I'm running nzbget 16.4-22 on my Synology Diskstation 414j. All working fine so far.
Only thing that doesn't work is access the NZBget webadmin over ipv6. Even on my local network.

The Diskstation has ipv6 enabled and i can acces the DS webadmin with ipv6 without a problem using https://[ipv6:address:here]:5001 or http://[ipv6:address:here]:5000
When I'm trying to access the NZBget webadmin with http://[ipv6:address:here]:6789 I get nothing.
Access over ipv4 works perfectly fine though.

Do I have to enable ipv6 for NZBget webadmin somewhere?

In case you're wondering: I need ipv6 to work in order to access NZBget from the internet, cause I have a DS-lite connection. Connecting from the outside to the DS webadmin works fine, so that's not the issue.:)
If i can get it to work in my LAN, I assume it will work from the Internet, too.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Put ipv6 address in option "ControlIP". Or "::" (without quotation marks).

Thanks. It's working now both with ipv6 and ipv4. That was an easy fix.;)

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but after recently updating to dsm 7 the "trick" with the "::" stopped working.
The only way to access nzbget webadmin now is via the default http locally.
Secure access stopped working after the update to dsm 7.
I even reinstalled nzbget and restored my working config, but no chance.
Any idea what might have changed?
