NZBGet can't browse groups, it can only download.

You browse via an nzb indexer website, download nzb-files from there and add them into NZBGet, which then downloads content linked in nzb-files.

Google for "nzb indexer".

BAH! :(

That makes life difficult and almost impossible to keep track of it all.

With Windows usenet you can browser the groups when ever you like and delete the headers that are of no interest so you always know where you are over the course of days.

Going away for a few days then coming back to a NZB indexer and trying to remember where you left off is impossible and the constant scrolling , selecting and then de-selecting of the long list is a complete pain.

Then NZBGet is not right tool for you. Newsbin and Newsleecher can browse groups.

I wanted something that i can add to my Router so it has to be linux based.

I don't think there is anything else out there that is as good as NZBGet for low resource hardware.

I see people talk about RSS feeds , is it possible for NZBGet to automatically read the feeds and download every single NZB file listed and store them in a folder?

When i'm away and come back having a folder full of tiny NZB files to scroll through is no different than choosing and deleting from headers , infact it would be better than headers as it would be more compact and i could just add the ones i want to NZBGet and delete the rest without having to remember where i left off from an indexer.

Not sure if that makes any sense as i'm not always very good at articulating myself.

"Documentation" link at the top of this page is a good reading, in particular "RSS and duplicate check".

All i can see is technobabble about setting up filters that isn't newbie friendly , I can't see anything about my question about automatically downloading every NZB file , not something i would want to filter?

Ha-ha, have you read at least a couple of words of the article? ;)
The very first paragraph:
RSS feeds in NZBGet have option Filter describing filter rules. If the filter is empty every rss item is downloaded. Otherwise the filter is applied.

You will do want to filter. I'm sure about this.

I did read but It's all rather overwhelming.

I took that as meaning it will download every complete RAR set rather than just downloading the tiny NZB files that you would normally select from an Indexer so i'm still somewhat confused? :)
