Ok, then I will leave it like this.al3x wrote: ↑29 Dec 2017, 00:44You're welcome! Glad it works for you
Well, I use NZBget (and Sonarr and Radarr) all on my USB stick so I won't wake up the HDDs all the time. Of course you could change the paths and/or reinstall to another path, sure.
I think the most important paths that shouldn't point to a USB stick are DestDir and InterDir as those are constantly written during downloads. Not sure about TempDir, I don't think that's used that much though.
Can't really give you an advise for what would be the right choice here. I personally don't have any problems with my USB stick, running for over a year now. But a friend of mine had 2 sticks dying already so that might be stressful for some sticks. I'm using a "SanDisk Ultra Fit 16GB" for what it's worth.
Cheers!
Thank you very much for this guide! I've got everything working but I've got one problem now: Downloades files get this file rights: drwxr-xr-xal3x wrote: ↑26 Nov 2017, 02:22I posted in another thread a few months back but I don't think anyone actually read that.
In case anyone still needs a step-by-step guide to installing NZBget on a Synology NAS, I did this myself (Synology DS916+) a while ago and wrote down every step in detail, so here you go:
