I've recently added two factor authentication to my Gmail account and as a result, the email notification script no longer works.
Is there a workaround for this, or some other way to get this to work?
Thanks.

"no longer works" isn't very specific. Does the script end with success or failure status? Any (error) messages from the script in the log?
Anyway, you can create another account and use it to send e-mails.

Apologies for the simplicity of the description. As it was down to 2FA, I thought it might have been a known issue, especially as 2FA is becoming more and more common.
As a fix, I've set up with an alternative email account and we're back in business.
Just out of interest, are there plans to support 2FA?

Oops, sorry.
It was failing and the logs were showing;
Code: Select all
EMail: (535, '5.7.8 Username and Password not accepted. Learn more at\n5.7.8 https://support.google.com/mail/?p=BadCredentials r9sm22691775wrg.74 - gsmtp')
The only thing that changed for that account was the introduction of 2FA. I've since pointed nzbget to a different email account without 2FA and it's now working fine.

I've read through it and quickly realised that using an alternative, less important, account was the better option
Thanks for the additional pointer and responding, appreciated and keep up the great work with nzbget!
