Hi there,
I'm using NZBGet 17 with much pleasure on my android 7 device the Nvidia Shield TV. I really would like to go to v19 but after installing nzbget-android-1.1-testing-r13-bin.apk, And clicking INSTALL DAEMON the installation process gives an error
NZBGet deamon installation failed
Installing daemon
Preparing busybox tools
Bad system call
I know this error from Android 8 devices, but Nvidia Shield (android 7) should work right?
Does anyone know whats wrong?
Thx!

Who knows. There are only few android users of nzbget.
How did you get v17 installed? Try the same way with v19.

Then you use a third-party build provided by other developer. Try asking him to update nzbget to a newer version.

Has anyone been able to successfully run a v19 or v20 on the Shield?
And if yes, has someone been able to run CouchPotato and SickRage on another machine and then drop off the NZB's on nzbget on the shield?

Hey hugbug, are you still working on the Android test version we were trying to get up and running? Thank you.

To my knowledge current testing version works without issues.
Plus there is a new version of the installer app in development which adds startup on system boot, better running in background and can move files outside of nzbget sandbox directory. The app isn't available for public download yet but I could send you apk for testing.
You don't need this version of the app to just install and run nzbget (this should already work with current app) but only for new features.

On a Shield with Android 8? If you remember we tried in December and it wouldn't even install as a daemon. Do I need to root it first?
