Scheduler unpause not working

Post by OmegaII » 31 Mar 2019, 22:22

To be honest I never got this one working over several updates.

So what happens is that NZBGet perfectly manages to Pause the downloads on a certain time.
But it never manager to unpause it. I've tried different times. Putting the task behind the pause, before the pause. It just doesn't work. I see the pause everytime in the log, but ofcourse I never see the unpause, or an error.

My settings are. Task 1 time 0:00 weekdays 1-7 , command UnPauseDownload ; Task 2 time 11:59 weekdays 1-7 PauseDownload ; no params for both.
So in theory this should work. And it works for a lot of people. The only thing is that I'm running it in a docker from the linuxerver/nzbget image ...

So if anyone knows of a method to debug this one, since it's not generating an error. Getting sick to start it manual ;)

For a test delete the second task (keep only unpause task), reload the Program. Does it print a message like "Unpausing download" just after start?

Now add the second (pause) task with time greater than you current time. Reload the program. It should print again "Unpausing download" or does it print "Pausing download" instead?

So to be clear, when it said unpause, it was the 00:01 task as task #1.
Now that I added the second task at 11:59 with pausedownload, it says
"Mon Apr 01 2019 00:44:12 Scheduler: pausing download"

edit: And when I turn them around, it also says the same pausing download message after reload.

That's weird ;)
I've just tested with two tasks with same settings as yours and it correctly printed "Unpausing download" (0:50 local time).

Is option TimeCorrection set? If it does - try disabling it.

Also try deleting all tasks, save settings and then check the config-file in a text editor for any remains of "Task"-options.

Aha! That was the magic setting I was missing. I enabled the TimeCorrection, and although it didn't have to correct time, since all logs where correct all the time... It works now! :)

Thank you ;)
