Thanks for looking! I am trying to get the total number of items in the queue, regardless of paused, post processing, downloading, etc.
I can not find where that information is using the API. The number that shows next to the page title on my tab is exactly what I am looking for. Is there an easy way to get this info?
Also a quick explanation on "groups" would be much appreciated. I currently see "active downloads" when I call the listgroup endpoint but that shows 0 if its not actually "actively" downloading, obviously.
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

"Groups" are the same as "downloads" and the same as "queued nzb files". The name "groups" has historical reasons.
Therefore use API-method
listgroups to get the list of downloads. Then you can use the number of items returned, ignoring all the details you don't need.
