Some downloads fail on NZBGet, but complete fine on SAB

Post by crazygambit » 16 Oct 2019, 20:00

I've been looking to move from Sabnzbd to NZBGet for awhile now due to the performance issues I'm having with the former. However the thing that always stops me is that SAB has a much better completion percentage in my system. Just to test I grabbed around 20 files and only about half completed correctly on NZBGet while all of them downloaded fine in SAB. I manually retried a few on NZBGet and they downloaded fine the second time while others kept failing. I've tried to attach the log of one that failed at least 4 times on NZBGet while it downloaded perfectly on SAB the first time, but the forum tells me it's too large (it's about 1.6MB).

I even changed the settings of Parscan to full, but it made no difference. Is there any other settings I should be looking into to improve the repair process?

I'm running 21.0 on a docker on unraid.

Download and unpack issues on binhex image is a known issue.

Please use another docker image or install nzbget directly into the system.

Thank you. I installed the linuxserver.io image and it downloaded the problem file perfectly. I would have never realized the problem was with the binhex docker if you hadn't pointed it out.
