NZBGet behind reverse proxy: No login screen

Post by kingbuzzo » 18 Oct 2019, 08:19

Hi, I'm new to NZBGet and I really like it in combination with Sonarr, but I have a small issue I couldn't find a solution yet. I'm running NZBGet behind an nginx reverse proxy and so far this is working fine, but NZBGet doesn't show me a login screen, I will be logged in automatically.

I have found the information that I should leave the AuthorizedIP field blank, but when I tried this yesterday, I was not able to reach the Webif anymore and had to revert the change in the config file. I also tried it with a random IP address that doesn't match my home network, but still I'm logged in automatically.

Here's the nginx config:
location /nzb/ {
auth_basic "Restricted Area: GetNZB";
auth_basic_user_file /etc/nginx/.nzb;
proxy_set_header X-Real-IP $remote_addr;
proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for;
proxy_pass http://localhost:6789/;

As you can see I'm also using a basic auth right now to have some restrictions, but also without it I'm not prompted with a login screen. Does someone maybe has an idea? Thank you.
