Post by td540 » 17 Jun 2020, 16:04

nzbget seems to properly download stuff and places it in the completed folder, but the actual mp3 is never ever complete. i always have to download the nzb again and trigger the whole download again for stuff to properly download

how do i fix this?

Usually the log contains messages explaining why it failed. Click on the item in history, then on button Log, then Save to file. Upload it to pastebin.com and post the link here.

Everything is OK. The file is saved to /downloads/completed/show/todays_show.mp3. Is it there? What's the problem?

the actual mp3 seems to be corrupted/incomplete when it's being downloaded through the rss subscription. it starts playing, but 5 minutes in the mp3 stops. if i redownload the mp3 by dragging the nzb file on the nzb web interface, the download completes, and the mp3 works perfectly.

this rss feeds should download an mp3 every day, but everyday it's incomplete and i just have to do it all manually by downloading the nzb on nzbindex.com

(and I had the exact same problem with sabnzbd by the way)

Compare nzb-file fetched from the feed (you can find it in NzbDir) with the nzb downloaded manually from the indexer. Use a text editor to open nzb-files. Do they have the same content? If not, then your rss-feed isn't that good.
