I posted for help at the indexer’s forum, but they blamed it on nzbget. One said it gets stuck, another said maybe it’s because I was on the “test” version not the “stable” one. So I’m asking here for confirmation or other diagnosis. I’m using NZBget on Windows 10 Pro.
With NZBGet RSS scheduled, I was getting failed rss feed messages that say HTTP/1.1 429 Too Many Requests.
Sadly, I made sure to quit and completely restart and...
warning Wed May 05 2021 08:17:42 URL UFC failed: HTTP/1.1 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable
error Wed May 05 2021 08:16:04 Download UFC failed

warning Wed May 05 2021 08:15:53 URL UFC failed: HTTP/1.1 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable
warning Wed May 05 2021 08:15:42 URL UFC failed: HTTP/1.1 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable
info Wed May 05 2021 08:15:41 nzbget 21.1-testing-r2329 service-mode
Anyone know why I’m having such fail using nzbget for RSS?

Rss requests are simple web requests. Check if the url works in a browser. If it does - the issue is in nzbget. If it doesn't work in the browser - ask indexer for support. Maybe the URL isn't correct.
In the browser use privacy (incognito) mode for these tests to ensure the browser doesn't send hidden authorisation data from your previous site visits. Nzbget wouldn't have such data.

Great troubleshooting! I’ll try it now.

Are we taking about the “feed url”? I pasted that into a private window and was prompted for the indexer sign-in, and was then sent to what appears to be an xml page.

Yes, you did the correct test. As you see the indexer required you to login, which nzbget can't do of course. You need to build an URL which works without login. The indexer staff should be able to help you with this.

Wow! I looked and realized their site had given me an RSS feed with an old API of mine. I think I have it working correctly now. I told them; could be a bug. Not sure how I could have recently gotten the previous API otherwise.
