I have tried various nzb files but NZBGet downloads files very, very slow compared to other clients such as Binreader (from the year 2010). While Binreader maxes out my internet connection at ~9MB/s, NZBGet tops at around 4MB/s. I'm using the same usenet provider. I have this problem with both version 21 and 21.1. After changing the level from '2' to '0' it increased to 7MB/s for a bit, but it soon went to 4MB/s again. The only thing that seems to matter is when I decrease the "level" setting. Only when it is set on level 0 I get around 8MB/s (still no 9MB/s though). Does the level setting have that much of an impact on download speed or are there other things that matter?

Are you testing nzbget and other clients (binreader) on the same computer/environment/OS?

Yes. Same computer, environment and OS. I tested them one after another a few times.
