Unpacking errors

Post by Tidle » 06 Sep 2021, 09:18

Hello,

I am trying to switch from sabnzbd to nzbget as performance seems to be much better on an qnap arm nas.
But I still have errors when trying to use automate unpack feature.
I am using nzbget together with radarr in a docker environment. Both images from linuxserver.
When downloading bigger files (40gb and more) I am getting problems with unpacking. I get errors like:

Code: Select all

 INFO] Repair not needed for filename{{]4oiU4~l83}}/LS22aG2Y7b

[INFO] Second unpack attempt skipped for filename{{]4oiU4~l83}} due to par-check not repaired anything

[ERROR] Unpack for flename{{]4oiU4~l83}} failed: checksum error in the encrypted file. Corrupt file or wrong password.

Code: Select all

 INFO] Directly unpacking filename{{]4oiU4~l83}}

[INFO] Unrar: UNRAR 6.02 freeware Copyright (c) 1993-2021 Alexander Roshal

[INFO] Unrar: Checksum error in the encrypted file LS22aG2Y7b.part001.rar. Corrupt file or wrong password.

[WARNING] Cancelling direct unpack for filename{{]4oiU4~l83}}

[WARNING] Interrupted direct unpack for filename{{]4oiU4~l83}}

[ERROR] Unrar error code: 3

[WARNING] Direct unpack for filename{{]4oiU4~l83}} failed
When trying it directly in the console (which btw only works if disabling postprocessing, because otherwise the failed download files are deleted and I can’t investigate - is there a setting to NOT delete files on error?) of the nzbget docker it’s working. Also on the hist. System it’s working. But either direct unpacking or in post processing is working.
Someone has an idea what’s going on here?

Nzbget does not delete files on failure but radarr may do this. Check its settings.

Good advice. I disabled it in radarr. Download Client Advanced Settings.
Do you have an idea for the unrar problem?

Also in the GUI it says password missing. If I enter the password and restart post processing it’s also working.
Is there a problem with reading the password from NZB File? But I am experiencing this with many nzb files. Not just one.

Dies nzbget not automatically insert the password from the file name in brackets {{password}}?
