Running unrar at lower priority

Post by wormvortex » 19 Nov 2021, 20:34

The guide says the command is:

nice -n 19 unrar

but how do I use this in the command. My standard unbar command is "${AppDir}/unrar" I've tried adding "nice -n 19 unrar" and various other variations but then the unpack just fails.

Try:

Code: Select all

nice -n 19 ${AppDir}/unrar
If it doesn't work please post the error output (log).

Ahh that worked! I assumed it needed to go after.

Thanks for such a quick reply. 1 Further question where it says it runs it at a lower priority how much lower is this? Is the priority changeable or is it just simply a lower priority?
