"Writing articles" slows down download to zero

Hello, there...
Finally i made it to this forum.
Since i can think of using this great tool i am always experiencing one (for me) great problem:
Everytime i am downloading a big-sized data NZBget crashes the download to zero when writing artcles (as it can be seen on the message-tab).
I use the latest version (r...) and have an intermediate and destination HDD seperately.
Which settings should i use ?!
