Will NZBGet work with a Zyxel NSA220 box? The Zyxel does run on Linux. Anyone know how to install it on to this box? I'm a Windows person I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to install.

It's hard to give advices without having the device.
You may try to install fun_plug by following
this guide. Then try the binary for dns323 from nzbget download page, package "nzbget-testing" (look for a file which name contains word "dns"). Here are the direct links for files from the latest testing release:
debug version and
release version.

so the new dlink dns-323 fully supports nbzget, it will auto fix par files then unzip rar files? If so i might just buy another nas since it's so cheap. i wish there was a complete list of working nas for nzbget.

Dns323 doesn't have nzbget preinstalled. You will need to install some hacks to allow the installation of third party apps, then install nzbget. It's not much easier than installing fun_plug and nzbget on your device.
Here is a newer
guide to install FFP on NSA220.

I have neither nsa220 nor dns323. I can barely help with a specific configuration.
Basically to run nzbget you only need to get telnet access. Then you can try to run binary for dns323. That binary doesn't depend on any external libraries.
Try to run nzbget with command:
It should print server version. Does it work?
