Any chance to add a default umask for files and dirs?

Do you mean a configurable option?

Added a new option "umask":
-----
# Specify default umask (affects file permissions) for newly created files (POSIX only).
# The value should be written in octal form (the same as for "umask" shell command).
# If umask not specified (or a value greater than 0777 used, useful to disable current
# config-setting via command-line parameter) the umask-mode will not be set and
# current umask-mode (set via shell) is be used.
# NOTE: do not forget to uncomment next line.
#umask=022
-----
Please take a new version from svn and let me know if it works as wanted.

Hi hugbug,
do you think it would be possible to update the optware binaries?
Because I don't have the tools to compile it my self for the Synology
DS-106e I have to wait for an update at optware.

Optware repository takes the last published version.
As soon as a new version is published here, it will be updated in optware.
I'm going to release the next version in a few weeks.
Have you tried to install a build environment for DS-106e on your computer? It should be not very hard (if it is a part of
www.nslu2-linux.org-project or am I wrong?). Which optware-target do you use? ds101g?

OK, I've managed to compile it for ds101g (hope this is your target).
Let me know your email-address and I'll send you new binary.

Thanx for that test binary.
It works great at DS-106e(ds101g) optware-target.
Checked that umask option and it seems to work like it have to.
Offtopic: Like the group feature too.
