[BUG] Web Interface 1.3 T2 NoAccess to $CheckSpaceDir

Post by phil-t » 26 Jan 2009, 21:12

Just a minor issue,

It would seem (Or I'm blind!) that you can't access/change the variable $CheckSpaceDir (Settings.php) from the web interface, which needs to be set to stop an error being displayed in the left hand status box on the main index page?

I'll stop posting now, seems like I'm the moaning old git that can't tie his own shoelaces! :)

This option is under Web-interface/Display. Don't you have it?

Hi,

I checked a few times, but I'll take a good look tonight, as my brain is getting old, and I may have just been silly!

I've got to the bottom of this..

Because there is a 'DISPLAY' section under NZBGET-SERVER options on the config page, this stops the settings.php 'DISPLAY' section from showing on my installation.

If I rename DISPLAY -> MAIN DISPLAY in the settings-template.php I can now access these settings from the config page

Is this my installation?

Strange, it's working for me.
I'll check it out.

I can't reproduce the problem.
Could you please send me the complete folder "nzbgetweb" configured to produce the error?

No problem,

I've e-mailed it to the public-files.de address I found in another post!

It also includes the completed Newzbin Support (Well first attempt)..

Cheers

I figured it out. It's because you use nzbgetweb 1.3 with nzbget 0.5.1, ignoring the prerequisites, listed in nzbgetweb's README:
This version of NZBGetWeb (1.3) requires NZBGet 0.6.0 or later.
In nzbget 0.6.0 the section "DISPLAY" was renamed to "DISPLAY (TERMINAL)". Please upgrade to nzbget-0.6.0-testing.

I've just upgraded...

And now the problem is reversed ;) , the WEB INTERFACE section has it's DISPLAY settings shown, but the SERVER Settings doesn't show DISPLAY (TERMINAL)

If I rename DISPLAY (TERMINAL) to DISPLAY TERMINAL in nxbget.conf.example it then shows up..

Also, oddly, the Main Title for all the Server related config categories is "POSTPROCESSING-SCRIPT"

I guess it may be something wrong with the QNAP php installation?

That's OK. I hide it intentionally, because it doesn't contain any useful settings for users, who use web-interface.

The testing-3 version has support for editing options of post-process-scripts via web-interface.
Didn't you confuse settings "ServerConfigFile" and "ServerConfigTemplate" on page "WEB-INTERFACE / COMMUNICATION WITH NZBGET-SERVER" with similar settings for pp-script on page "CONFIGURATION OF POSTPROCESSING-SCRIPT"?
