nzbget logo

Post by farfromrefuge » 05 Nov 2013, 15:55

Hi everyone,

I am writing a new app for ios and android. It is going to be a free app.
Now i am looking for a logo to use in the navigation bar.
I kind of like the logo which appears in the top left corner of the webui, but the resource is very small.
Does anyone have it in bigger size?

If not i will go for a simple labe with a font. But i would prefer to respect the ui of NZBGet

BTW: thanks for the great rpc api!

Best

Have you checked icons-2x.png?

Oh i did not explain my self correctly.

I am looking for a logo in a sense that is shows the name "nzbget". The idea is to use it as the title of the main window action bar. Exactly like it does in the webui.
icons-2x.png is more like an icon :D
I already use it in some places, but i liked the webui logo because it show the name of the app/

Nothing better than an image to explain yourself ;)

Maybe the answer is to find the font used …

You use the old logo.

That's the new one:

2x is for retina. That's why asked if you use 2x. Isn't it big enough?

Yes it is big enough but the icon itself is not really what i want

I didnt have the new logo as i was using 11.0
Quite nice the new one!

I know have it with 12.0 sources but it is still pretty small. Any change of getting a bigger version?

I don't understand what you want :)
You can take the text "nzbget" from icons-2x.png. It's big enough for retina (the image I posted was a small non-retina version). If you think it's still small, I don't have a bigger one.

@hugbug: I am sorry! my mistake. When you talked about icons-2x.png i thought of the osx icons-2x.png :s. I made a direct assumption that it was what you were talking about :s

So no icons-2x.png from webui is not big enough. If i take the logo out of it, it s just 174x92 which is small for some android densities. Can you get me the psd of that file?

PS: really sorry for the misunderstanding...

The logo was contributed by forum member dogzipp. He asks what resolution do you need?

Oh great, thanks for asking him!
I guess twice that size would be enough, so something around the lines of 350x200 if it s ok.

Thanks
