FailureLink.py permission denied

So I have FailureLink.py from Dog. I like the idea of the script.
However, I am constantly getting 'permission denied' when it tries to run.
Permission have even be set on the file to 777, with no change.
If I run "./FailureLink.py" from CLI, permission denied.
If I run "python ./Fialurelink.py" it runs (complaining that I didn't call it from nzbget)
I'm wondering if it tried to grab from a directory or file w/ odd permissions? Looking over the file now, but I don't know python.
I'm stumped.
EDIT: If I "sudo ./FailureLink.py" I get no output. :/
