There is a Problem with this and also the Passworddetector. Since v15 you can add commandline switches to unrar in config and that doesn't work together with the python call in the 2 scripts, since there the parameter must be extra parameters for the subprocess.Popen(... call in python.

Are you using the latest v1.6 of FakeDetector? It has a special code to strip extra parameters.

No, I didn't check for a new version was still version 1.5.
I just set up my new Banana PI the past week and didn't check if the scripts that I copied were the current version.

Update: version 1.7:
- added support for rar-archives with old naming scheme (.rar, .r00, .r01, etc.);
- extra exception info is printed if an error occurs.
For download link see the first post.

Thanks for the update hugbug
FYI PasswordDetector could use the same treatment, i already applied the changes from FakeDetector to PasswordDitector to my local copy, they seem simple enough, 2 line changes from what i gathered.

I'm not seeing a link to v1.7. Github shows header for v1.7, but the download is v1.5.

HI, thanks for the script. I am new to Nzbget (always used sabnzbd)
I installed FakeDetector 1.7 and configured as per a guide I found.
I dont know if this is a new way to avoid fakedector or if I have done something incorrectly.
Couchpotato passed a movie to NZBGet.
Fakedetector runs and arranges last rar file to download first.
That is the last I see it in the logs and the file continues to download.
Here is snippet:
Successfully downloaded Dragon.Blade.2015.1080p.BluRay.x264-PSYCHD.cp(tt3672840)/Dragon.Blade.2015.1080p.BluRay.x264-PSYCHD.par2
Successfully downloaded Dragon.Blade.2015.1080p.BluRay.x264-PSYCHD.cp(tt3672840)/Dragon.Blade.2015.1080p.BluRay.x264-PSYCHD.r81
FakeDetector: Moving last rar-file to the top: Dragon.Blade.2015.1080p.BluRay.x264-PSYCHD.r81
FakeDetector: Sorting inner files for earlier fake detection for Dragon.Blade.2015.1080p.BluRay.x264-PSYCHD.cp(tt3672840)
Executing queue-script FakeDetector.py for Dragon.Blade.2015.1080p.BluRay.x264-PSYCHD.cp(tt3672840
Now I dont think this fakedetectors fault because when I manually inspect the file I notice something a little different from past fake files.
When extracted the folder structure is as follows.
Dragon.Blade.2015.1080p.BluRay.x264-PSYCHD.rar
--Dragon.Blade.2015.1080p.BluRay.x264-PSYCHD.MKV (Folder)
----Dragon.Blade.2015.1080p.BluRay.x264-PSYCHD.rar (file)
--------and then this is where the usual readme.txt file goes
I have either got something wrong in my config, or FakeDetector sees the folder as a valid file and then passes the download as valid.
Can someone please give advice on this.
Thanks

If this is a fake it doesn't look so for fakedetector. In the first post of this topic is documented what is detected as fake.
