[PP-Script] PoisonProcess script collection

Post by CutePoisonX » 06 Aug 2013, 12:00

Hi guys!
Update: this script is obsolete, the successor can be found at: http://nzbget.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1999

I just wanted to introduce my little script-collection for NZBGet 11.

The "main-features" of this scripts are:
1) Detecting the name of downloaded movies/tv-series correctly (automatic Imdb-search to verify the detected name)
2) Organize your downloaded files properly
3) Convert your downloaded files (PoisonConvert needed)
4) Inform yourself and your media-center about finished downloads (Plex, Xbmc, Pushover-notification)

For full features, see the readme.md file: https://github.com/CutePoisonX/PoisonPr ... /README.md

This scripts are designed to work on Synology DiskStations but i guess they will work on other posix-based-systems too.
The following scripts are included:
PoisonProcess.sh - prepare files for ProcessMovies.sh and ProcessShows.sh
ProcessMovies.sh - Moves movies to certain destination, get name of the movie with guessit or nzb-filename, check movie-name with a Imdb-search and refresh Plex
ProcessShows.sh - does the same as ProcessMovies.sh with tv-series
Pushover.sh - send pushover-notification to mobile-devices (requires pushover installed on your smarphone)
RefreshXbmc.sh - refresh xbmc-client

Well, I know that some scripts already exists (like the pushover and xbmc-script), but variety does not harm ;)

Note: I tested the scripts myself and i think I fixed most of the bugs. Nevertheless I cannot guarantee that the scripts are totaly bug-free in RC1.

To install it on your system, head over to: https://github.com/CutePoisonX/PoisonPr ... /README.md and follow the installation-instructions.
You can find explanations of the options in the scripts at: https://github.com/CutePoisonX/PoisonPr ... iki/_pages

Feel free to try them out. Constructive criticism is always appreciated.

Best regards

That's a lot of bash code, looks like black magic to me .
A welcome addition to NZBGet script collection. Thank you for writing and sharing them!

You are welcome.
I hope the scripts will be useful ;) Windows-support will come with the next update i guess.

Btw, thank you hugbug for developing such a great program, it works really well.

I want to use this script. But after a download is finished and ready for PoisonProcess i get:
"Post-process-script PoisonProcess.sh for XXXXXX failed (terminated with unknown status)"
XXXXXX means filename of course.

I tried everything but its not working... I think it is something with my setting, but i don't know what.

Somebody here who uses the Poison scripts?

Here are my settings:

Hi!

First of all I'm really sorry for the late response!
Unfortunately I've to admit that the The PoisonProcess script is a bit buggy and can give headaches sometimes!
However, in the last few weeks I've completely rewritten the script and it should work much better now.

I'm going to release it in a few days under a different name and will remove PoisonProcess from Github.
I would be happy if you could try the new one!

Edit: The new script can be found at: http://nzbget.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1999
