No, when a segmentation fault occurs the program terminates immediately.
The bug was: the program wrongly "detected" unpack error even before the unrar was launched and that caused the crash. Fixed.
jimboe wrote:Now, if you restart the daemon, you'll get two running instances of unrar trying to unrar the same nzb.
When you restart the program during unpack the unpack must be terminated but that behavior is not changed by the fix.

Model: Synology DS1513+
CPU: Intel Atom 2.13GHz D2700 x86-64
RAM: 4GB
Terminal Access: Yes
Source: SynoCommunity Package
V13: No, but v11 and v12 and it worked perfectly.
How often: Once in a while, seems like it happens during unrar.
last 3 lines of the logfile before the crash:
Code: Select all

in theory i can compile it myself if that should be needed and i
think i may be able to force a crash, even if i'm not completely sure if its due to unrar error on passworded releases (due to missing passwords) or its just a coincidence that it crashed on such releases

This is fixed and will be soon available in 14.1. If you can compile you can try the latest version from svn.

I've installed it VIA synocommunity's release and I can not get download speed over 300KBps anymore so I think something has got worse?
Also it crashed and stopped once (during download), then took a few attempts to start it back up.

Very unlikely.

It would help if you could provide log-files after crash (before restarting).
