When I change settings via the UI. The changes don't show in the GUI. Specifically the security settings, daemon user and umask values. However when i check the config file they are in there...
Running in docker using the linuxserver.io container.

Webui reads settings from config file. What you see directly in the config file should be displayed in webui.
Check if the same setting is contained multiple times in the config file.
What about other settings, do they save and read properly?

There is no special processing for these options. The only reason I can imagine is that the startup scripts of the docker container mess up with nzbget config file.
Please do the test:
- open settings tab in nzbget
- change umask and daemonusername
- click "save all settings", do not reload nzbget yet
- open nzbget.conf in a text editor and check the option values. What values do they have?
- close the text editor
- reload nzbget
- open settings tab in nzbget
- check umask and daemonusername. What values do they have?
- open nzbget.conf in a text editor and check the option values. What values do they have?

I am seeing the same issue as the OP in that the settings are not updating in the UI but are shown as updated in the config file. It looks like it is a browser issue. If I look at the settings in Chrome (which is where I originally tried to change them), they are not updated, but if I open them in Edge or FireFox they are updated. I have no idea why, maybe its an autofill feature????

Figured it out. I was my password manager storing form fields and then autofilling on page load. I disabled that and it all works fine.
