Hi,
I'm currently trying to compile the latest NZBGet version for my Drobo 5N2 but keep on hitting dead ends, as the Drobo forum itself is a joke and all the information I can find is pretty outdated...
For example the available toolchains and VMs/Docker images have an old GCC, etc. and while being a developer myself, I'm more into Java and not that familiar with compiling, cross-compiling, etc.
To cut to the chase: is there a working/current version of NZBGet for Drobo out there? Or a working howto/setup to compile it myself?
Any hint is very welcome
Cheers!

Via Download-link at the top of this page you'll find NZBGet installer for Linux which almost certainly works on your Drobo. The installation manual is near installer download link.

Thanks for your quick reply.
This gets me halfway there - now I need to figure out how to put the resulting update in the proper paths so my Drobo picks everything up properly.
I'm new to this, but I'm stubborn

If you have some old version of nzbget installed via a third party package (not via official installer) then it's better to remove it. Then install the new version into a separate directory, use the installation manual.
If you use the new installer to update your existing installation you will most likely end up with a non working setup because there are many files to replace and changes in the config file are needed.
