I have used NZBGet successfully for three years now on my RaspberryPi. Now the update doesn't want to install.

The installer can't write into nzbget directory.

OK but how do I go about changing it? What needs to be moved?

The directory permissions must be fixed to allow nzbget process to write into nzbget directory. Alternatively you can install the new version manually into the same directory.

drwxr-xr-x 5 root root 4096 Mar 20 18:39 nzbget
What needs to change?

Never mind. I fixed it. changed the user to pi and now everything works.
