I have just updated (in app) from v20.0 to v21.0 (stable)
It worked originally but has since failed and now fails to open.
Stopping and starting the app failed to fix the problem.
Reinstalling v20.0 then restoring my settings has successful.
I then did the in app upgrade/update again to 21.0 (stable) and this time it just did not open at all .
Back to 20.0 now and will not be trying 21.0 (stable) again.

That's unfortunate. Then I guess I will not be able to fix this. Nonetheless maybe you could provide some extra info:
- What is the exact QNAP model?
- How do you install nzbget (v20)? I guess you don't use official installer from nzbget download page. Is it a docker container perhaps (which one)? Or is it some package made specifically for QNAP (which one and made by whom)?

Hey Hugbug,
thanks for the reply.
I have the Qnap TVS-1282 with the latest firmware
NZBget was updated from inside the app and is not in docker.
This pops up on opening the app
Update NZBget
Currently installed: 20.0
An update is available!
Stable - Official releases 21.0
Testing - 21.0-r2304
Development - 21.1-r2309
I get an option to click install the stable or the Testing version which is what i did twice as mentioned (the stable version)

One thing I have noticed is changing the location of the queue folder (and maybe others) in PATHS.
When V21 open it has an error something like cannot find MainDir/queue/queue
It looks like it is adding an extra folder!!
I am sticking with V20

If you have access to terminal - can you for a test install v21 into a new directory using official nzbget installer from nzbget home page? The installer puts all files into one directory which can be deleted after the test; it will not interfere with your existing installation (just stop your nzbget before the test to free the network port).

Hi Hugbug,
I have access to terminal but am not proficient with installing from a command line.
