Web-interface settings getting reset on their own

Post by kjKmcQN3 » 04 Aug 2019, 07:20

I've been using NZBGet for years and have found it to be rock solid and stable. However, in the past few days I've been seeing some strange behavior. Certain settings, so far limited to the Web-interface, are getting changed/reset on their own. I first noticed it when my saved filters abruptly disappeared. Next, the RowSelect and WindowTitle settings got changed back to their default settings which I had changed when I first set up NZBGet years ago. I saw the note on the info page stating that the Web-interface settings are stored in the browser but wonder why this is happening all of a sudden as I have been using Safari all along, haven't changed any settings within it nor cleared history, cookies etc. Thanks for your help.

NZBGet version: 21.0
OS: macOS High Sierra 10.13.6
Browser: Safari 12.1.2

Maybe because Safari saves settings in plist-files which are not transactional and are prone to damage.

That must be it. I'll delete and regenerate the plist file and hope it fixes it.
