nzbget on PopCorn Hour (syabas) ?

Post by nobody » 06 May 2008, 17:40

Hello,

nzbget is a really great project.
Has anyone tried to install and execute it on a popcorn hour ?

I tried but i failed on the first step : ./configure

the shell loops on :

sed: no previous regexp
./configure: ./.lineno: line 465: expr: not found
sed: no previous regexp
./configure: ./.lineno: line 465: expr: not found
sed: no previous regexp
./configure: ./.lineno: line 465: expr: not found
...

After, we have to execute make and make install.
But there are no compiler on the PCH !

Could you save me ? ;-)

I believe you wouldn't compile on a Popcorn hour. You'd compile on a proper PC using a cross compiler toolchain & then just copy the binary across.

All right, someone built it for the PCH http://www.nefkom.info/hiker/nzbget-for-nmt.tar.bz2

Then I have got another problem.

When I launch nzbget -s, everything's fine.

My problem is that I must have a keep my telnet connection open ! If I close the window, it stops the server.

In the readme file, it is said
Quote:
First start the nzbget-server:
- in console mode:
nzbget -s
- or in daemon mode (POSIX only):
nzbget -D

The postfix -D doesn't seem to work.

Could you help me ?

Rejome.

Anounce : http://www.networkedmediatank.com/viewt ... 4006#34006

It seems that NZBget is going to be officially included into the Popcorn Hour !

A proof that nzbget rocks...
