Does NBZdrone need a script?

Im also running a program called NBZdrone http://nzbdrone.com/ which is similar to sickbeard...does it also need a post processing script?

I think it does because otherwise it can start working with files before they were completely processed by NZBGet and pp-scripts.

nzbToMedia added support for NZBDrone in dev branch (nzbToNzbDrone.py script added). But the dev branch is under heavy development so there could some things be broken.

I tried to get a script running and was having all sorts of trouble. Then I just followed NZBDrone's wiki instructions and it all worked. No script required.

I have made the script available to give you the option.

As with CouchPotato and SuckBeard etc NZBDrone will process fine on its own, but there are advantages to using scripts if you want...

The script will stop the need for apps constantly scanning a directory ( particularly when not downloading) and therefore allow the HDDs to spin down in some systems.

The scrip will also prevent unnecessary Api calls to the downloader while downloading (this can be a bit much on a smal arm processor etc)

Also, the script includes a few other features, like ffprobe check on the media file to verify it is a legit video etc and start downloading a new version if the video is corrupt/fake.
